Overview:
This specialist workshop explores the science and artistry behind postmortem phenomena and their recreation through special effects make-up. Combining theory and practice, the course examines the four key postmortem signs: pallor mortis, algor mortis, rigor mortis and livor mortis in detail.
Following an in-depth theoretical session, participants will observe demonstrations and take part in hands-on exercises recreating postmortem effects using professional products and techniques.
Designed for experienced artists seeking deeper anatomical and effects knowledge, this workshop offers a unique intersection of science, realism and creative application.

Workshop Availability:

Workshops run subject to a minimum of two confirmed attendees. If a workshop does not yet meet this requirement, you may request to join the waiting list by emailing workshops-uk@kryolan.com, including the workshop title and preferred date(s). You will be contacted once the minimum number of attendees is reached and formal confirmation can be issued.

If you have booked online, received your confirmation, and are the sole attendee for a scheduled workshop, you will be contacted no later than one week prior to the course date and offered the option to transfer your booking to a suitable alternative date or receive a full refund.

Do I need to bring anything?
All products, tools and brushes are provided. For practical sessions, we recommend bringing a smartphone or camera to photograph your work.

Will I receive a certificate?
Yes. Upon completion, you will receive an official Kryolan Certificate of Attendance. Please note this is not a formal make-up qualification.

Will a model be provided?
In this course, a model will be provided for all attendees to work on as a collaboration.

What if I need to cancel?
